Hi. I know I'm not so active on here anymore - Being a full time University student will do that to you.
HOWEVER. I really really.. Really, want to get on doing portraits.
I've never really done them before other than a spontaneous shots and casual pictures at events.
I was wondering if anyone who has taking portraits could offer me suggestions as to how I can go about finding people to help build my portfolio.
How do you show a prospective model or rather, convince them - whether they are your friend or an acquaintance- or stranger! If you have no pictures to really show them?
How did YOU start out!
Let me know

Insight would be great.
I'm just rambling..
